The Sherman Artists Association is hosting a show “August Light” in the Kent Art Association Building, 21 S. Main St, Kent, Connecticut August 2 – 31, 2024. Over 35 artists and over 100 paintings, photographs, mixed media, fused glass and sculpture have been accepted into the show. The artists have created a feast of landscapes, portraits and abstracts of life, whimsy and beauty. The show is open from August 2-31, 2024. How do you define a successful art reception? In my experience, it's when you can't find parking anywhere, not even at the gas station. Tonight was truly magical. A group of talented artists showcased their pieces while another group of dedicated members poured their hearts out to make this show a complete success. This is what Sherman artist is all about. We've got each other's backs, support each other, and, best of all, encourage everyone to be the artist they are meant to be. In the crazy world we are living in right now, what we need is more artists! 🧑‍🎨
