My studio currently features a wall covered in collages and another with oil and acrylic paintings in progress. I begin my realistic paintings with sketches that lead to a series of more formal explorations. My goal is to convey my subject’s essence and my emotional response to it.

In my professional life, I chaired the Fine Arts Department at Canterbury School in New Milford, CT and taught there for over 20 years.
