MaryJane Magoon is a watercolor artist whose work reflects her lifelong passion for color, design, and the natural beauty of her surroundings. Hailing from the upper peninsula of Michigan and having lived in various parts of the Midwest, MaryJane now calls Sherman, Connecticut home. Her background as an interior designer and certified color consultant deeply informs her art, making her a master at understanding the subtleties of hue, contrast, and flow.

Inspired by the transparency and fluidity of watercolor paint, MaryJane captures the natural beauty of the world around her, allowing the paint to move organically across the page, much like the world’s colors move through life.
