Christy’s artwork is like no other—each piece is a testament to her unique vision and boundless creativity. Using acrylics, she lets the paint “dance” with a mix of techniques and tools, allowing each stroke to evolve into something magical. Shapes and images reveal themselves organically as she works, giving her pieces a life of their own. Through thoughtful titles, Christy adds layers of meaning, inviting viewers to dive deeper into the story behind the art. 🌟
This year, Christy will be showcasing her unique creations at the Sherman JCC during our Open Studios Event Dec 7&8 from 10am-4pm —and she’s got something special in store for you!
Not only can you explore her vibrant and dynamic artwork, but Christy will also be offering a hands-on acrylic pour painting craft for visitors! 🎨✨ Whether you’re a seasoned artist or a beginner, this is your chance to get creative and take home your very own pour painting ornament.
In addition to her artwork, Christy is a passionate teacher and will soon be opening her home studio in Sherman for painting and resin workshops. 🎨✨ Whether you want to experiment with new techniques or deepen your artistic practice, Christy’s workshops will offer something for everyone!
A dedicated community leader, Christy serves on the board at Gallery 25 in New Milford, the Sherman Artists Association, the Sherman Commission for the Arts and the Great Hollow Photographers Club. Her involvement and support of the arts in our community is truly inspiring!
