When I was discharged from the Army in 1972, I used the GI bill to study college subjects that I had interest in and ended up focusing on Photography and Fine Art. At the time, I learned photo processing and printing and worked exclusively in B&W. However, I ended up with a demanding business career, so I put photography aside until about 10 years ago, when I purchased a digital camera, an Adobe Lightroom License and a large format Epson printer and taught myself how to use them. Although I have done some shooting locally, my favorite images are from travel, when I am out of my routine and look at my environment with fresh eyes. I develop and print some of my images in color if I feel that color is essential but most of my work is still B&W.
